Mission

The Senior Strategic Risk Analyst supports Golem Consultancy by analysing complex operational, geopolitical, and institutional environments where decisions carry significant consequence. 
The role focuses on transforming fragmented information, uncertainty, and evolving conditions into structured analysis that allows leaders and organisations to act with clarity, discipline, and foresight. The position requires intellectual rigour, analytical discipline, and the ability to evaluate risk across multiple domains including political, security, economic, and technological environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured analysis of complex operational and geopolitical environments.
• Identify emerging risks, KRIs, vulnerabilities, and strategic opportunities affecting clients or operations.
• Produce clear analytical briefs supporting leadership decision-making.
• Evaluate security, political, regulatory, and operational factors across international jurisdictions.
• Support scenario development and strategic planning exercises.
• Contribute to risk assessments for international operations, projects, or deployments.
• Maintain awareness of evolving geopolitical, technological, and security developments relevant to the Group’s work.

Expectations

Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical discipline and the ability to interpret complex environments where information is incomplete and conditions evolve rapidly. 

Experience in strategic analysis, geopolitical risk assessment, intelligence analysis, security studies, international relations, or comparable analytical environments is highly valued. 

The ability to synthesise complex information into clear and actionable insight supporting decision-making is essential. Familiarity with structured analytical techniques, scenario development, and strategic forecasting methodologies is considered a strong advantage.

The role requires discretion, sound judgement, and the ability to operate responsibly when analysis informs decisions carrying real-world consequences.

Compensation and Package

Compensation within Golem Group International reflects the level of responsibility carried by each role and the environments in which the Group operates.

Remuneration structures are competitive within their respective domains and may include fixed compensation, performance-based components, and long-term participation depending on the nature of the mandate. Indicative remuneration brackets are provided within individual role descriptions. Final terms are discussed during the engagement process and may vary depending on jurisdiction, experience, and scope of responsibility.

Selection Process

Capability Assessment

Titles and past experience are considered, but capability is confirmed only through demonstrated performance. 

All candidates progressing beyond the initial review undergo structured evaluation designed to verify the capabilities required for the role. Depending on the domain, this assessment may include analytical discussion, technical demonstrations, scenario-based reasoning, and practical exercises reflecting the environments in which the Group operates.

Where relevant, candidates may also be required to complete physical assessments aligned with the operational demands of the position. These evaluations ensure that competence, judgement, and preparedness meet the standards expected within Golem Group International.

Final evaluation of professional alignment with the Group’s standards of responsibility, discretion, and conduct. Where alignment is confirmed, collaboration may begin within the relevant entity of the Group.
